Description

One or more of the messages the Drive Inverter (DI) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) receives periodically from the Decoupled Power Brake (DPB) ECU is not received, indicating the DPB ECU may be unavailable (MIA).

Potential Impact

There is no communication between the DPB and DI ECUs. This may impact traction and vehicle dynamics control performance. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if the traction or vehicle dynamics control systems are faulted.

Set Condition

One or more of the expected messages from the DPB ECU is not received.

Clear Condition

The DI ECU starts receiving the expected messages from the DPB ECU during the next drive cycle.
