Description
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects a significant change in tire circumference ratio from front to rear axle, between square (similar circumference) and staggered (different circumference) during a drive cycle.
Potential Impact
If the tire fitment change detection is a false positive (no change in front to rear tire circumference ratio), user may experience more traction control activity. No impact if detection is a true positive (a change has occurred).
Set Condition
Set when vehicle detects the ratio of tire circumference from front to rear axle has changed between square (similar circumference) and staggered (different circumference) during a drive cycle, and tire config was not requested.
Clear Condition
Clear on inverter power cycle.
