Description

The pedal monitor (PM) electronic control unit (ECU) requests that the drive interface (DI) shifts into Neutral.

Potential Impact

The DI automatically shifts to Neutral without user request.

Set Condition

The DI receives a shift request from the PM when the vehicle's speed is above 1 mph (1.6 km/h).

Clear Condition

The DI exits Neutral, or the accelerator pedal is pressed.
