Description
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU or GDU-MCU connection problem. This diagnostic checks if the microcontroller is able to switch off the GDU.
Potential Impact
EPAS full loss of assist.
Set Condition
EPAS Gate Driver switch-off test by MCU fails. GDU is unable to switch off the GDU.
Clear Condition
EPAS HW failure. EPAS power cycle N times and if persists, the gear needs to be changed.
