Description
This alert is reported by the MotorControlDiagnostics_R12 (MCD) component if the absolute reference torque is greater than the absolute requested torque plus diagnostic limit, or they have opposite signs and the difference is greater than the limit.
Potential Impact
EPAS reset. If reset more than 5 times then EPAS full loss of assist.
Set Condition
If the absolute reference torque is greater than the absolute requested torque plus diagnostic limit, or they have opposite signs and the difference is greater than the limit. EPAS application motor control diagnostics detected failure (itorque value comparison).
Clear Condition
Perform EPAS Software update.
