Description
This alert is reported by the SystemBasisChipHAL_A8140x (SBCH) component SBC if the communication check (SBC -> MCU) fails. Against random HW failures of the MCU and communication line including EMC.
Potential Impact
EPAS reset. If reset more than 5 times then EPAS full loss of assist.
Set Condition
EPAS SBC diagnostics detected SPI failures. Communication check (SBC -> MCU) fails (Wrong ID or CRC failure).
Clear Condition
EPAS will perform a power cycle. If persist then perform EPAS Software update. Replace HW if the alert persist.
