Description
The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) receives a message over the controller area network (CAN) from the Gateway (GTW) that the Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) value received from the ESP is different than the value expected on GTW.
Potential Impact
Vehicle may be unable to drive until the configuration mismatch is resolved.
Set Condition
The CRC reported on CAN does not match the value expected on the GTW.
Clear Condition
An over-the-air (OTA) firmware update is completed or the ESP is flashed.
