Description
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects that it has received one or more packets with invalid Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) on the etherloop interface. These packets are not processed.
Potential Impact
Frequent occurrence of this alert indicates a hardware issue that could impact operation of the vehicle.
Set Condition
The alert is set if the GTW receives a packet with an invalid CRC on the etherloop interface. Alert log signal data should provide more information on the number of packets with invalid CRCs that have been received.
Clear Condition
The alert clears when the GTW does not receive any packets with invalid CRCs for at least 5 seconds after the alert is first set.
