Description
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the Integrated Dynamic Brake Secondary Core (IDB1) electronic control unit (ECU) running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle. May occur after an unsuccessful or incomplete vehicle firmware update, and may be resolved through a successful vehicle firmware update.
Potential Impact
Vehicle is unable to drive until the firmware version mismatch is resolved, to make sure brake system functionality is not limited or unavailable due to firmware.
Set Condition
The GTW detects the IDB1 ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
Clear Condition
The GTW no longer detects the IDB1 ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
