Description

The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) circuit pressure sensor signal has an issue or the sensor is shorted to power/ground.

Potential Impact

Brake boost pressure is limited to 100 bar. Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Brake Traction Control (BTC), Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Panic Brake Assist (PBA), Hydraulic Fade Compensation (HFC), Controlled Deceleration via Parking brake (CDP), Brake Disc Wipe (BDW), External Brake Request (EBR), and Secondary Collision Mitigation (SCM) may be unavailable. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.

Set Condition

The IDB detects an issue with the brake circuit pressure sensor.

Clear Condition

The issue is no longer detected by the IDB. If the condition persists, the IDB module may require replacement.
