Description

The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) experienced a kernel panic event during the previous boot. If 3 kernel panic events occur before the vehicle can sleep, Autopilot features may be limited or unavailable.

Potential Impact

Autopilot functionality may be limited or unavailable if 3 kernel panics occur before the vehicle can sleep. While the Autopilot ECU is finishing its reboot, the Backup and/or Dashcam feeds may be temporarily unavailable, and the GPS marker may be temporarily stuck.

Set Condition

During Autopilot initialization, the boot-time checks detect that a kernel panic occurred during the previous boot.

Clear Condition

Clears automatically after 10 seconds.
