Description
This alert is reported by the InverterDiagnostics_R12 (INV) component if the reconstructed Alpha or Beta vectors are different from the actual Alpha or Beta vectors. This diagnostic compares the input and output of the inverter component. The SwitchOnOffTimes output of the inverter is transformed back into alfa, beta vectors, and checked against the input.
Potential Impact
EPAS reset. If reset more than 5 times then EPAS full loss of assist.
Set Condition
Reconstructed Alpha or Beta vectors are different from the actual Alpha or Beta vectors. EPAS application diagnostics of inverter device detected failure (in/out-feedback comparison).
Clear Condition
EPAS will perform a safety reset.
