Description
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the Restraint Control Module Calibration (RCMCAL) electronic control unit (ECU) running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle. May occur after an unsuccessful or incomplete vehicle firmware update, and may be resolved through a successful vehicle firmware update.
Potential Impact
Tesla Supplementary Restraint System (TSRS) features depending on RCMCAL ECU functionality may be limited or unavailable.
Set Condition
The GTW detects the RCMCAL ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
Clear Condition
The GTW no longer detects the RCMCAL ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
