Description
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the rear driver-side door control module (BCRDM) running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle. May occur after an unsuccessful or incomplete vehicle firmware update, and may be resolved through a successful vehicle firmware update.
Potential Impact
Rear driver-side door features depending on BCRDM functionality, including window, door handle, and latch functions, may be limited or unavailable.
Set Condition
The GTW detects the BCRDM running a different firmware version than expected.
Clear Condition
The GTW no longer detects the BCRDM running a different firmware version than expected.
