Description
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the Steering Torque Overlay (STO) running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle. May occur after an unsuccessful or incomplete vehicle firmware update, and may be resolved through a successful vehicle firmware update.
Potential Impact
Vehicle is unable to drive until the firmware version mismatch is resolved, to make sure power steering functionality is not limited or unavailable due to firmware.
Set Condition
The GTW detects the STO running a different firmware version than expected.
Clear Condition
The GTW no longer detects the STO running a different firmware version than expected.
