Description
Invalid longitudinal accel signal or qualifier (QF) is received.
Potential Impact
Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Controlled Deceleration via Parking brake (CDP), External Brake Request (EBR), and Secondary Collision Mitigation (SCM) may be unavailable. There may be an issue with the transmitting Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
Set Condition
The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) receives either the RCM_longitudinalAccel CAN signal as Signal Not Available (SNA) or the RCM_longitudinalAccelQF CAN signal as FAULTED for longer than 1000 milliseconds, or the RCM_inertial2 CAN message has a checksum, counter, or message length error.
Clear Condition
RCM_longitudinalAccel and RCM_longitudinalAccelQF Controller Area Network (CAN) signals are received as valid for 1000 milliseconds.
