The Tesla Model Y and Model 3 have been identified as the safest vehicles following testing conducted by ANCAP in 2025.
Tesla Sweden has effectively inaugurated a new Supercharger station, overcoming hurdles posed by Swedish unions through the utilization of on-site Megapack batteries.

Tesla encountered difficulties connecting its new charging stations to Sweden’s power grid due to industrial action led by Seko, a major Swedish trade union. This action blocked all new electrical connections for new Superchargers, making it challenging to open new Supercharger sites.
Despite the blockade, Tesla managed to bring new stations online in Malmö and Södertälje after grid operators E.ON and Telge Nät activated the sites, although they later stated that the connections had been made in error.
Recently, Tesla took a different approach by launching a new charging station in Arlandastad, outside Stockholm, powered by a Tesla Megapack battery. This innovative solution allowed Tesla to bypass the blocked application process, as highlighted in a report by Dagens Arbete (DA).
The Arlandastad Supercharger, with eight charging stalls, does not rely on a permanent grid connection. This setup enables Tesla to work around the unions’ efforts, showcasing their ability to adapt to challenges and continue expanding their charging network.
While this workaround may not be easily replicable in other locations, it demonstrates Tesla’s commitment to overcoming obstacles and ensuring access to charging infrastructure. The success of the Arlandastad Supercharger highlights Tesla’s resilience and dedication to providing charging solutions, even in the face of labor disputes.
